Tenda, which has been supplying the performance horse and pet care market for more than 45 years, will debut TendaPod, the first equine pet shampoo concept of its kind, at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Fla., this week at Booth 5344. It will also be on display in the event’s New Product Showcase. The product brings same concept as that of laundry and dishwasher pods to equine and pet shampoo.
“Farms, grooms and trainers need efficiency when they’re responsible for a lot of horses,” says Todd Mizer, the TendaPod developer who’s among the second generation working in the family owned company. “And they’re paying a lot of money shipping gallons and gallons of shampoo. Then it’s taking up space in tack rooms and trailers. I knew we could make our customers’ lives easier with the right product.”
One concentrated, .04 oz. TendaPod provides shampoo and lather ample to bathe three horses by simply refilling a single pail with fresh water. Packaged in resealable pouches of 20, EquiPacks bathe more horses with significantly less product. When dropped into a pail, the fast-acting formula begins to lather immediately as water is added and brings unmatched efficiency to the equine bathing process.
